Guruji is a free app for learning to use AI tools well, and for learning to code, five gentle minutes at a time. Here are the questions we hear most.

How do I get started?

Open app.getguruji.com in any browser, on a phone or a computer. No account or download is required. On a phone, you can add it to your home screen and it works offline.

Do I need an account?

No. The full app works without one, and your progress saves right on your device. An account is optional and only exists to sync your progress across more than one device.

I lost my progress, what happened?

Progress with no account is saved to your device's browser storage. Clearing your browser data, using a different browser, or switching devices will not carry it over. Creating a free account before that happens keeps your streak and lessons synced everywhere.

Is the AI part free?

Guruji itself is always free. The everyday Chat path runs on Claude's own free plan. A few more advanced rooms further into the AI path use features that need Claude's paid plan, which belongs to Anthropic, not us, and we say so clearly before you get there.

I found a bug, or something looks wrong.

Tell us exactly what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead, with a screenshot if you have one. That is the single most useful thing you can send us.

I want my account or data deleted.

Email us and we will delete your account and its data. See our privacy policy for what we collect in the first place.
